Rock Quest

Image advertising a Rock Quest May 25th through June 6th, where participants can earn prizes, gift cards, and more by finding rocks hidden throughout Mascoutah. If participants want to have their own rocks hidden, they can attend Rock Painting for Adults on May 18th or for Teens on May 28th.

Kick off Summer Reading with a community-wide Rock Quest in Mascoutah!

Find custom painted rocks* hidden around local businesses, the park, and other areas of Mascoutah. Turn in the rocks** to win a prize and be entered into a drawing!

📅May 25th through June 6th 
🗺️In the City of Mascoutah, near businesses in Main Street, and in Scheve Park. 

*Rocks will not placed on private property, buried, or hidden in places that can only be reached by climbing. Only rocks that say the following on the back are included in the Rock Quest: "Return to Mascoutah Library for a Prize!" 

**Only one rock per person, per day.

Special branded rocks have prizes that are provided by the Library, and the following organizations:
