It's official—September's Book Club pick is Isabel Cañas' Vampires of El Norte.  Set in 1840s at the Texas Mexico border with war and the supernatural at play. There's horror, romance, with a dash of thrilling adventure. Here's a little more about the book:

A curandera, Nena, a healer trying to prove her worth to her father and a vaquero, Néstor, a rancher/cowboy, both fight their own battles.
